Also known as: P021, Ac-DGGL-A(adamantyl-Gly)-NH2, CNTF-derived neurotrophic peptidomimetic
Evidence is limited to animal or in-vitro work. No human pharmacokinetics. Any human dose in circulation is extrapolated, and extrapolation across species routinely fails.
No measured pharmacokinetic half-life located in primary literature. The adamantyl modification is described as improving stability/BBB penetration but a quantified half-life was not found.
Preclinical only. Rodent studies dose by mg/kg (not human microgram doses); no human dosing exists. Keep any figures as animal mg/kg from source papers, not translated to human mcg.
Research record is preclinical and concentrated in the Iqbal/Kazim group (transgenic AD mouse models, e.g. 3xTg-AD). Positive neurogenesis/BDNF and cognitive findings but essentially single-lineage and unreplicated independently; no human data.
