GHRP-6
GH secretagogue (ghrelin receptor agonist)
Also known as: Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6, SKF-110679
Evidence is limited to animal or in-vitro work. No human pharmacokinetics. Any human dose in circulation is extrapolated, and extrapolation across species routinely fails.
No reliable human half-life located. A secondary source asserts an oral absorption half-life of 15 min and elimination half-life of 60 min, but this could not be traced to any retrievable primary source and is therefore not reported as a value. A 2023 peer-reviewed review states GHRP-6 has poor oral bioavailability (0.3%) and a short in-vivo half-life without giving a number. Rat data show predominantly biliary excretion with clearance ~5x higher than ipamorelin, and no half-life. Anti-doping urinary detection is ~23 hours for parent compound, again, a detection window, not a half-life.
No established human therapeutic dose located. Circulating protocols (100-300 mcg) are community convention with no published clinical basis.
GHRP-6 is a ghrelin receptor agonist and causes marked appetite stimulation; it co-stimulates ACTH/cortisol and prolactin alongside GH. Human safety data are limited to older short-term endocrine studies. No long-term human safety characterisation exists.
