Epitalon

Bioregulator

Also known as: Epithalon, Epithalone, AEDG peptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly

Tier 4, Documented harm or no usable evidence

Either documented serious adverse events in humans, or effectively no retrievable evidence base. Dosing figures circulating for these compounds have no scientific foundation.

Half-life
Not established

Essentially no rigorous published pharmacokinetics. Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide modeled on the pineal extract Epithalamin; the literature traces overwhelmingly to the Khavinson/Anisimov (Russian) research lineage without independent Western replication. No credible human half-life exists.

Dosing
No established dose

No regulated/standardized dosing. Doses cited in the anecdotal/wellness literature are not backed by a controlled PK or dose-finding study at approved-host sources.

Regulatory status
Not approved by any major regulator. Investigational 'geroprotective' bioregulator studied mainly within the Khavinson lineage in Russia.
Evidence base
mixed · confidence: unknown

In-vitro, animal, and some Russian clinical reports (telomerase/geroprotection claims) concentrated in one research lineage; independent replication and modern PK are lacking.

Safety

No boxed warning (unapproved). No controlled human safety data at Western regulatory standards; anti-aging/telomerase claims are not supported by independent controlled trials.
