0.75 mg start, up to 4.5 mg once weekly.

Titration
0.75 mg once weekly; after ≥4 weeks may increase to 1.5 mg; then in 1.5 mg increments after ≥4 weeks each, to a max of 4.5 mg once weekly.

Safety

BOXED WARNING: Risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. Contraindicated in patients with personal/family history of MTC or MEN 2. Also: pancreatitis, hypoglycemia with insulin/secretagogues, hypersensitivity, diabetic retinopathy, acute kidney injury.
